Brent and Theresa Vincent

Greetings! My name is Brent, and I along with my wife, Theresa, have 6 precious children entrusted to us; our oldest is 19 and the youngest is 3.  Our family has been called by God and was sent by The One Association to move to Indonesia in October of 2016.  The Lord has graciously crossed our paths with several local islanders, several missionaries and several local works.  We are so blessed to be a part of what the Lord is already doing there.  We will be based in Yogyakarta on the island of Java.

Indonesia is a rather large nation; it actually is the 4th most highly populated country in the world! It also boasts the world’s highest Muslim population.  The Lord is moving among the hearts of the people there as they are beginning to question the violence associated with their faith.  Jesus himself has manifested to so many…the stories we hear would melt your heart.  Our heart breaks at the thought of them coming to Christ, but having no one to teach them or give them any direction…or them never hearing at all.

Hello everyone from Chivay, Peru! Our family has been called by God and sent by the One Association of Churches in November 2017 to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of the Caylloma/Colca Canyon region.  We have been building relationships in the region since 2013 and coming twice a year since 2015 and are now permanently here to fulfill our family's mission statement, (Mezuzah), which comes from Isaiah 58:12; Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. We will repair and rebuild spiritual foundations through relationships by teaching, encouraging, and direction through the Word of God.

God's specific mandate to us for this region is Echad (Hebrew for "unity or oneness"). All the believers were in ONE heart and mind.  No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had (Acts 4:32).  We are to bring "oneness" to the people, reconciling them to the Father and making disciples. The Hebrew word for disciples is "Talmidim". It is a way of life in making true disciples of Jesus Christ.  We are going to give our lives fully to the process of discipleship by attaching ourselves to people and walking with them on a very personal level.  Our goal is to make local disciples, leaders, and pastors so they can tend to the sheep in their communities.

Called Out Ministries is based in the Balkans. The Church of Jesus Christ is His Ecclesia, comprised of His “called out ones,” and the vision of this ministry is to call out the scattered men of this region into His kingdom, making disciples through the three-stranded process of a forge, an anvil, and a hammer. The Lord will take unformed billets of steel and heat them up, teach them an immovable standard, and affect forceful change in their lives and in the lives of the generations to come. Our goal is that by team leadership and sacrificial unity we will see biblical discipleship spark throughout Aswan. Rejoice with us as the descendants of Ishmael learn to love the descendants of Isaac and their Messiah, Jesus Christ.
